During my recent stay at a charming family-run guesthouse in Germany, I was pleased with the blend of traditional and modern elements that defined the experience. The expansive views of the surrounding vineyards and Bodensee offered a scenic backdrop to our stay, complementing the room's spacious and clean environment. My experience was marred by some inconveniences. The Wi-Fi only worked in the reception area and was insufficient for streaming or heavy usage, with consistent disconnects each evening. I found it necessary to request fresh towels, as they were not automatically changed despite being left on the floor. A lingering odor from the bathroom fan was another point of concern. While the staff were friendly and accommodating, I expected a higher standard of service, especially regarding internet connectivity. I hope that these issues are not representative of all establishments in the area, as the setting itself was quite lovely.
